Aquapark w Homburgu

The complex includes a 25-meter sports pool with a diving bay, a learner's pool, and a recreational pool, providing facilities for all ages. Additionally, there is a separate paddling area for the youngest users.

Swimming pool with attractions

A 25-meter indoor swimming pool with a diving bay and two diving boards, a learning pool, and a recreational pool are just some of the water attractions for seniors, adults, and youth. A separate paddling area for the youngest is located in the pool hall. The paddling area, with its specially selected water attractions, has been designed as a pirate world to enhance children's experiences. The main attraction is a ship with a water slide for the youngest children. Attractions such as water cannons, geysers, and waterfalls create an exciting atmosphere and transport children to a world of fantasy. The children's area is complemented by a terrace for parents.

The power of economics in design

In 2014, the first innovation award from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy went to the project for the construction of the intermodal KOI swimming pool in Homburg, implemented as a public-private partnership (PPP). Our project won the prestigious competition, beating out renowned investments from Berlin, Wiesbaden, and Hamburg. The success was determined by the design strategy, which aimed to create a facility that would generate the highest economic results with minimal financial outlay. A key element of the concept was the optimization of the functional program by increasing the number of saunas, which allowed for a significant increase in the facility's revenue potential. The entire project was preceded by a detailed economic analysis, including a summary of costs and projected revenues from individual attractions.

The KOI project went through many development and conceptual phases. This was the result of both intense competition and the pursuit of maximum economic impact and the best possible financial solutions. As a result, the water park's final appearance gained a more modern, dynamic architectural form, while maintaining Japanese accents in the spa & wellness area, which emphasize the unique character of the entire facility. Thanks to this approach, the KOI project distinguished itself not only by its innovation but, above all, by its real profitability and long-term economic effectiveness.

Discover a world of diversity.

This motto is reflected not only in Japanese sauna ceremonies, but also in the regional delicacies served in the Asian restaurant located on the complex.

Seasonal Pools

A modern seasonal pool complex forms a separate part of the Water Park. A recreational and sports pool, connected by a flow channel, is planned for the exterior. Extensive lounge areas create a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor areas, creating a harmoniously designed recreational landscape. Thanks to the southern exposure of the facades, the outdoor spaces and relaxation areas are naturally lit throughout the day on sunny days, significantly improving user comfort. In the evenings, a recreational pool with spectacular ambient lighting creates a unique atmosphere, featuring a variety of water attractions: hydromassages, water jets, geysers, and special air seats for full-body massages. An additional attraction for guests is the TrioSlide water slide – with three lanes of varying difficulty, providing both family fun and sporting excitement.

Since December 20, 2014, when the facility opened for use, the design principles have been reflected in practice. Lovers of sports, fun, rest, and relaxation can enjoy unique solutions and a unique wellness and sauna area designed in the Land of the Rising Sun, set in a beautiful setting with panoramic views of the surrounding area.
