Aquapark and water-park design
Aquaparks have been our specialty for years — we design them end to end, combining appeal for guests with sensible operation and energy responsibility. Our portfolio includes dozens of water facilities in Poland and Germany.
Experience that makes the difference
We have designed, among others, the Tychy Water Park (multi-award-winning, a World Architecture Festival finalist), Fabryka Wody in Szczecin, SOL@RES in Rzeszów, and water parks in Kraków, Chełm, Sanok and Stalowa Wola, plus many facilities in Germany. This lets us avoid costly mistakes and design facilities that truly work.
Energy and running costs
An aquapark is a wet facility with high energy use — so we build the energy strategy into the design from the start. The Tychy Water Park produces twice as much energy as it uses; SOL@RES integrates a photovoltaic installation into the architecture. Lower running costs are real value for the investor.
Attractions and in-house products
We design pool zones, saunariums, family and sports areas, and we offer in-house products: the Wodeon water cinema, the Heksagon sauna and Vitality pools. We treat the guest experience as part of the architecture.
Full scope and dual-use
We run the project from concept and PFU to supervision. Increasingly we design aquaparks as dual-purpose buildings — combining recreation with a civil-protection (shelter) function.

FAQ
Who designs aquaparks in Poland?
TKHolding — an architecture studio with dozens of water facilities in its portfolio (e.g. Tychy, Fabryka Wody, SOL@RES). We run the project from concept to supervision.
How does an aquapark differ from a pool or swimming hall?
An aquapark is a large recreational facility built for attractions and high traffic. A pool or swimming hall is smaller and more sport-and-utility oriented. The scale, technology and economics differ.
Can an aquapark be energy-efficient?
Yes. We design the energy strategy from the start — the Tychy Water Park produces twice the energy it uses, and SOL@RES integrates photovoltaics into the architecture.
Do you prepare an aquapark concept for a city tender?
Yes. We prepare an architectural concept and a functional programme (PFU) for tenders, then the design and supervision.
