Freibad Hochspeyer is a seasonal outdoor swimming facility with a sports and recreational character, offering a diverse functional program tailored to different user groups. The complex combines swimming, leisure, and family-oriented functions, ensuring a clear and efficient spatial layout. A fully developed thematic concept creates a distinctive and immersive atmosphere.
Diverse aquatic recreation for all user groups
The project envisions the creation of a seasonal outdoor swimming facility with a broad functional program, responding to the needs of users of different ages and usage patterns. The concept combines sports, recreational, and family-oriented functions within a single, coherent spatial layout.
The facility is located within the town and serves as an important element of its recreational infrastructure. At the same time, thanks to the abundance of greenery and expansive lawns, it creates a leisure space that offers users a sense of openness and separation from the surrounding built environment.
The functional layout is based on a division into zones corresponding to different forms of water activity, allowing the facility to be used simultaneously by competitive swimmers, children, and recreational users.
The facility includes:
- an outdoor swimming pool

- water attractions (jets, massage features, water installations)
