The “H2Oe” open-air bathing facility in Öhringen is conceived as an open, multifunctional recreational environment that integrates diverse aquatic activities within a natural landscape setting.

The programme includes a 50 m, 8-lane competition pool with barrier-free access for seniors, alongside a large leisure pool equipped with a current channel, hydro-massage zones, underwater loungers, a beach-style entry, water features, and neck jets. A long, semi-open water slide with an integrated landing basin is also provided, with its exit edge directly aligned with the pool edge to maximize capacity and facilitate efficient user flow.

The complex also includes a separate diving pool as well as a paddling pool area with slides for the youngest users, equipped with age-appropriate play elements and a water play house.

The facility is complemented by technical infrastructure, changing rooms, and food service areas, including a kiosk and a beach bar.

A key aspect of the concept is the strong integration of the facility with the surrounding greenery, creating an environment conducive to relaxed outdoor leisure. The clear functional layout allows different user groups to simultaneously use various zones, providing both opportunities for active recreation and spaces for relaxation.
